Are You In a Rebound Relationship

There are many things that people go through when they have had a relationship break up for whatever reasons. Some people like to be left alone for sometime to reflect on the loss, but some other people go in the opposite direction. They are the ones that seek comfort in someone else as soon as they can. That is their way of healing, and it does not mean that they did not care about or are not morning the loss of the last relationship. When you are dating someone after a breakup, either yours or theirs, you want to know if you are in a rebound relationship or not.

You may think of a rebound relationship as one that starts after a long term one fails. That is true, but not all of them are going to end badly. However, most of them do. What happens is that someone goes for the opposite of the person they were just with in the hopes that this will help them forget and heal faster. It never works, but that is usually what they are attempting to do. If they are not the ones that wanted to end the relationship, they may go into a rebound relationship with someone who remind them of the person they just lost.

Because of this, rebound relationships are often based on things that do not make for a long term relationship. If you jump into the arms of another to feel safe and loved, even though you have not mourned the one you just ended, you are not seeing that person for who they really are. Large problems and other issues can occur in such a rebound relationship. One of the biggest is that they end up talking endlessly about the relationship that just ended, and the other person is left to feel that they are not over that other person. If this occurs, they are correct and the relationship ends.

If you think that you are in a rebound relationship with someone, ask yourself a few questions. Have you jumped to fast? If you are thinking of getting close to someone really fast, you could be setting yourself up for heart ache. Eventually, they are going to get spooked. If someone is always talking about the ex, you should realize that this could go on for a long time. You have to decide if you can pull back a little and be more of a friend until the other person has healed. If not, youre going to get your feelings hurt and heart busted into pieces. Make your pick accordingly.

Those people who leap from one lover to another, and have found themselves in a rebound relationship have to consider what they are doing. They should make double sure they are being real about getting out of something and not being over it. That can let someone else conclude if they are really up for a relationship that may not end well. Do You Know If Your Relationship Is On the Rocks

Let’s take a look at some of the common warning signs of a break up.

Is your partner avoiding you?  If your relationship has reached the stage when your partner seems to be spending more time with his mates than he does with you then this can be a warning sign that trouble is pending.  Is your partner avoiding your phone calls?  Is your partner avoiding spending any romantic time with you?  Has he increased his night out with the boys from once a week to three or four times a week?  A yes answer to these questions is a strong warning sign that your relationship is in strife.

Has communication between you and your partner become uncomfortable or non-existent?  A happy relationship needs to have good communication so if it seems that you are having trouble communicating with your partner then there might be something to worry about.  Lack of communication goes hand in hand with the avoidance issue – if you’re partner is heading off to bed early rather than sit and watch a movie with you, then he is avoiding you and avoiding communication.

Do you seem to be arguing more than normal?    All relationships have some problems and there will be arguments from time to time; that is completely normal.  No two people can agree 100% about absolutely everything; it is just human nature to disagree about some issues.  The problem comes when there seems to be more and more arguing and less and less normal conversation.  There is also the severity of the arguments and whether they have changed from general arguing to very hostile arguing.  Your relationship may be in trouble if you find that arguments have become a regular occurrence and your partner seems to be picking fights quite a lot.  Sometimes prior to a breakup a person may pick fights because it helps them to justify their intentions when they do finally make the break and end the relationship.

Avoidance, lack of communication and a lot of arguing are three big warning signs that your relationship is in trouble.  If you are aware of these signs and notice them soon enough then you can work toward resolving any problems and saving your relationship.

How To Know How Your Ex Feels About You

While attempting to get back an ex girlfriend or ex boyfriend, one of the biggest fears most people have is: "Does my ex want me back?"  Knowing the answer to this question could mean the difference between giving up or pushing onward, especially if youve been trying to win your ex back for a while now.

How to End a Relationship

Being in love is one of the greatest things life can offer. Everyday is filled with sunshine and rainbows. But love can also be the greatest cause of misery known to man, because when a love relationship goes wrong, ones world practically collapses.

1. Prepare yourself. It is a lot harder to deal with yourself than to deal with your partner. You can never do it if your head and heart do not agree with each other. Be sure about the reasons you want this relationship to end, and strengthen your heart, that no matter what happen, nothing will change your mind.

2. Plan what you are going to say, and where you are going to say it. It is important that you are confident and know what you are saying when you face your partner. It is better to talk in private but avoid breaking up through the phone or a text message. This person has been your significant half for a while so do show some respect when you want to end things.

3. Keep your cool. Avoid argument or quarrel when you tell your partner about how you feel. Be honest with them about the reasons for the break up, because they deserve to know the truth. However if it is because you are now seeing someone else, you dont need to rub it on their face just to make them feel worse than they already do.

4. Give each other space after that and dont rush into new relationship. Breaking up will cause emotional instability no matter who is doing the break up. Give it some time before you start calling your ex to know how they are doing even though you still care for them.

This is always the wrong thing to do.  I dont care if you have something important to tell them, something you forgot to explain, or you just want to know when you can come pick up your stuff... let sleeping dogs lie, and leave your ex alone for the next few days and weeks.  Nothing you can say right now will change your exs mind, and your "stuff" isnt going anywhere.

2. Writing or Sending Cards and Notes to Your Ex

Theres nothing worse than going through the heartbreaking process of breaking up with someone... and then having a 19-page letter stuck beneath your wiper blade the next morning.  Whether youre a guy or a girl, the person who dumped you simply does not want it.

Actually, theres nothing wrong with putting your thoughts and feelings down on paper.  Doing so will let you get a lot of things out of your system.  But sending that letter off to your ex boyfriend or girlfriend is a big mistake.  Its going to come back and haunt you later on, when youre making a real effort to get them back.


3. Making Promises You Cant Keep


The words leave your lips quickly and easily: "But I promise I can change".  You shouldnt be making this promise to anyone.  Changing the person who you are so you can make a relationship work is not only wrong, but its unhealthy.  Its also going to lead to another break up very quickly, even if your ex does take you back.


4. Making Ultimatums or Giving Your Ex Deadlines


"If you dont get back together with my by Friday... then its OVER!"  These words should never leave your mouth.  Your ex broke up with you - youre in no position to be handing out deadlines or threatening your exboyfriend or exgirlfriend.  Youll only look bad, and even worse, appear extremely desperate.


5.  Stalking Your Ex or Driving Past His or Her Work/Home/School



Nobody likes a stalker.  Display this type of behavior and youre definitely going to be labeled as one.  While you might think its innocent to swing by and check up on your ex, what youre really going to do is scare the crap out of them.  Theres no reason you should be following or spying on your ex boyfriend or girlfriend after they break up with you.  Not if you one day want to date them again.

Most of the time, there are people who are caught off-guard by written notes from a physician since they can barely understand the writings. On some occasions, unless you ask, your physician will not explain in detail what you or your caregiver should know. There are even instances when physicians only inscribe codes. This is true when you are a patient with bipolar disorder. Commonly, mental health experts use codes to interpret their findings. 

Psychiatrists habitually scribble codes in your records. Knowing the codes by heart will help you or your caregiver to understand and gauge the pertinent actions to undertake.

Codes are arranged by the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM). DSM is the typical categorization of mental disorders utilized by psychiatrists or other mental health experts. 

For bipolar disorder, there are chiefly three important codes such as codes for mood disorders, codes for substance induced mood disorders and code extensions for psychotic features. 

Codes for Mood Disorders 

There are several code categories under "codes for mood disorders." 

If a patient has a sole "manic episode" and there is no history of major depressive episodes then mental health experts usually interpret in under code 296.0x (F30.x). 

A patient with bipolar disorder who experiences a "hypomanic episode" in progress and had at least one incident of manic or mixed episode then it is categorized as code 296.40 (F31.0). 

The code 296.4x (F31.x) is characterized in patients who suffers from a current manic episode who have undergone major depressive, manic or mixed episodes. 

A patient with Bipolar I Disorder and have occurrences of mixed episodes and experienced any of major depressive, manic or mixed episodes falls into code 296.6x (F31.6). 

If a patient has major depressive episode and has a history of having manic or mixed episodes then mental health experts categorize this under code 296.5x (F31.x). 

The code 296.7 (F31.9) is being written down for patients who experience any of the following: mixed, manic, hypomanic or major depressive episodes. Along with the criteria, the patient suffered from at least one mixed or manic episode. 

Bipolar II Disorder can either be hypomania or depressed, has a code of 296.89 (F31.8) wherein the patient has more than one attack of major depressive episodes or at least one episode of hypomanic. Under this category, you must take note that there was never an attack of manic or mixed episode. 

Codes for Substance Induced Mood Disorder 

Mental health experts came up with codes to gauge measurable substances which heighten mood disorder. 

If a patient has alcohol intake which can stimulate mood disorder, then mental health experts interpret this as code 291.8 (F10.8). Ingestion of cocaine, on the other hand have code 292.84 (F14.8). 

Inhalants can also incite mood disorder, when this happens it is being regarded as code 292.84 (F18.8). Aside from inhalants, some sedatives can also stir up mood disorder. Mental health experts code sedatives as 292.84 (F13.8).

Code Extensions for Psychotic Features

A patient who have depressed episodes with Bipolar I Disorder has a code 296.53 (F31.4) if he has severe disorder with no psychotic episodes while 296.54 (F31.5) is the code for patients have severe disorder but with psychotic episodes. 

The meanings of codes are not simply for the medical practitioners to know. The patient should be knowledgeable of such codes for him to understand the course of his illness. Equally important is for caregivers to also acquire information with regards to different Bipolar Disorder codes so that they will properly take good care of their patients.
