How To Wire a Car Stereo In a House

If you have a spare car stereo in your house, that you dont want to install in your car and you want to connect it in your house, you will require a power supply that can provide constant 12 volts because all car stereos require 12 volts to turn on. Most people use a old or spare computer power supply unit because it can produce 12 volts, you can use it too. Most computer psus are about 20-25 amps, a car head unit requires about 10 amps, so hooking it to the computer power supply should be fine.

Instructions:

1)Make sure the power is disconnected for the psu, you dont want it on, while you are making connection with the wires, for your own safety.

2)On most computer psus there are a bunch of different coloured wires, that do different things, the wires that you need to move out of the way are wires that are blue orange red and green, as it makes it easier for you to strip down all the yellow wires.

3)Once you have done that, find all the yellow color wires and using a wire stripper, strip off 1 cm of insulation off the wires.

4)Then find all the black wires and using a wire stripper, strip off 1 cm of insulation off the wires.

5)Next twist all the yellow wires braids together, making all the yellow wires into one connection. Also do this for the black wires.

6)Locate the wiring harness on your car stereo and find wires that are coloured "Yellow", "Red" and "Black".

7)Once you have found them three wires, strip off 1cm of insulation from all of them, this is so the braid is exposed.

8)Then connect the yellow and red wires together and connect them to the yellow wires on the psu.

9)Then connect the black wired on the wiring harness to the black wire on the psu.

10)Using insulation tape, tape the exposed braids of the wires up, this is to prevent a short circuit to happen.

11)Turn on your computer psu, then press the power button on the car stereo and it will turn on.

How To Delete Your Xbox 360 Games History Off Your Console

If you have played loads of games on your Xbox 360 console, every game you play will be linked to your Xbox live account and will be stored on your gamertag on your games console. If for some reason you dont want them to no longer be in your games history list, then you will need to delete them off your profile. But remember that you can only delete games that have no achievements unlocked or have no contribution towards your gamerscore on your gamertag.

Instructions:

1) Make sure your Xbox 360 games console has access to a working internet connection. Then sign into Xbox live for the profile that you want to delete your games history. This is by pressing the Guide button on the controller and selecting Connect to Xbox Live by pressing the button A. Once you do this, your console will connect to the Xbox live servers.

2) Then go into My Xbox which is found on the dashboards menu and using your controller, navigate to the left, using the thumb stick and onto the Games Section and press the A button to enter into it.

3) Find the games that you want to delete from the Games Played List and to remove them individually press the X button found on the controller to delete game history.

The digital switch over has been taken place in the United Kingdom, this means that you will no longer receive the basic 5 channels that you were getting. This is because all the transmitters of them 5 channels have been permanently shut down because of Freeview and Freesat. Freeview offers a more variety of channels, such as Flim 4, additional news channels, cartoon channels for the kids and digital radio stations, without you having to pay a channel subscription, like you do with Sky. For a full list of all the channels, it would be best for you do visit the official Freeview website because they are always adding more. Also you will gain better picture quality with a Freview set top box because the video signal is provided to the TV using scart, this also means better sound quality. Plus if you have a HD television, you can also buy a HD Freeview box, and get a HD signal to your TV and watch channels in high definition.

Most Freeview set top boxes can be bought for £20.00 or less if it has already been used, they should include a remote control, a power adapter, an instruction booklet and a scart cable. You also need a TV with a scart socket, or a HD socket if you have got a HD TV and a HD Freeview box. Once you all that, you are ready to install the box for your TV, using the instructions provided below:

1)Connect the power adapter into your Freeview set top box, this is usually found on the back. Once you have done that, connect the other end of the power adapter into an electrical outlet socket.

2)Connect a scart cable into the a free scart socket on your TV, this is found on rear panel of the TV. Then connect the other end of the scart cable into the Freeview set top box, in the scart socket called TV.

If you have a HD freeview set top box, then you will need to buy a HD cable, but only if it is not provided the box. Then connect the HD cable into a free HD socket, found near the scart socket on most tellys. Then connect the other end of the HD cable into HD socket found on the Freeview box.

3)Power on your TV and then power on the Freeview set top box. The TV should automatically configure the scart socket itself. If not, change the AV mode on the TV remote control, if you are using a scart cable.

4)That is it you have completed the wired part of the installation, now all you need to do is scan the Freeview box for new channels and you should be done! See your instruction booklet because it will show you how to tune the Freeview box.

The economic missions that had you racing against the clock to fulfill contrived objectives have been removed from the game. Instead, Stronghold: Crusader places more emphasis on the fine artof defending or storming a castle. After all, isn’t this what you want when you pick up a box with a knight standing in front of a castle? When players first looked at the box for the original Stronghold, they probably wouldn’t have guessed that they’d be spending their time accumulating 500 units of cheese.
