psychology School Laminators Worth Looking At

As summer winds down, school is in the air. Stores have been sporting back-to-school displays for a few weeks now and kids are getting excited for that first day. As much as kids have to prepare to return to school, teachers and administrators are getting ready as well. One of the things that makes any school run well is having all the needed supplies. Any school can benefit from having their own laminator, but with so many choices, it can be hard to decide which one is right for your school. Weve done the hard work for you and gone through a variety of machines to bring you this list of some of the best school laminators available.

GBC is known for producing high quality office products and their laminators are no exception. The GBC HeatSeal Ultima 35 EzLoad 12" Roll Laminator offers one of the essential requirements for a school laminator: simple operation. In any educational institution, multiple people will be using the same device, so simplicity is key. Jams from improper loading are among the most common and costly mistakes made when using a laminator. GBCs EzLoad technology eliminates this error by using film that can only be loaded one way. This, along with the one minute warm-up time and a range of thickness from 1.7mil to 5mil makes the Ultima 35 a great choice for schools.

The Tamerica TC2700 27" Roll Laminator is another excellent machine for schools. Slightly larger than the GBC Ultima 35, Tamericas offering can accommodate larger items up to 27 inches wide. This makes it ideal for creating posters and banners. Schools can use the TC2700 to make their own signage, saving them hundreds of dollars. It can also handle films up to 10mil, making it extremely versatile. And the built-in trimmer only adds to the simple operation, which is perfect when dealing with multiple users. However, it is heavy, so you may want to place it on a cart for easy mobility.

Finally, there is the Fujipla 25" Easy-To-Use Complete School Laminator System. It includes a high quality 25" laminator, cleaning kit, two rolls of film, and a 28" mobile laminating cart. For institutions needing an entirely new laminating system, this is it. The cart is perfect to have for schools because it allows the laminator to be transported around to various classrooms instead of requiring materials to be brought to a single location. It also locks to prevent unauthorized access to its contents. The laminator, which is available separately, heats up within five minutes and handles film from 1mil to 3mil thick.

Overall, a laminator is an excellent tool for any school to have. School laminators need to be durable and easy-to-use, since they are handled by multiple users. Any of these three as well as many others by these brands would be a great choice for an elementary, junior high, high school, or any other educational institution. While it may be an up-front investmentHealth Fitness Articles, having a laminator to produce work in-house can actually save money in the long run. Plus parents love the preserved artwork their children bring home from school. Check them out for yourself today

psychology Choosing Values Discover 5 Ways to Help Your Kids

"Almost 90 percent of the teens who use drugs also do other things that put them or those around them at risk for serious harm, including drinking heavily, fighting, carrying weapons, and having unsafe sex." (Youth Violence Prevention Resource Center) During my 22 years counseling children and families, I experienced a similar snapshot with troubled teens and their families. . Parenting at the speed of life just didnt work.

Parents, dont cringe at this news. Instilling values from toddler to teens is easier than you think. Lets find out how from an expert.

Recently, I spoke with my good friend, Dr. Carol Eikleberry of CreativeCareers.com. Dr. Carol is a school psychologist. I asked her, "What can parents do to instill the right values in their kids?" Here is her advice.

"To be a successful parent means taking the time to pay attention to your children." Thats it in a nutshell. Slow down and pay attention to your children. Its the best way to help your kids choose the right values.

Case in point, everyday Dr. Carol tests and evaluates the children of parents who abuse drugs, alcohol, their kids, and become violent at home. She sees the toll on their kids and on their kids teachers and classmates when parents chase the wrong values.

Wrong values for parents:
Seeking solutions in drugs and alcohol
Seeking solutions in self-absorption and affairs
Seeking solutions with yelling, hurting, and violent tantrums

Dr. Carols tips for parenting with the right values:
Help your children deal with their emotions..
Guide your children in their social relationships.
Support your children academically.
Challenge your children to be better people.
Pay attention to your childrens needs and talents.

In short, she wants parents to recognize that their kids exist. "The school cannot do what the parents need to do," she says. How can you stop parenting at the speed of life?

Decide to slow down.
Pay attention to your kids.
Practice Dr. Carols parenting tips.

When you do, youll be teaching your kids to choose the right values. Your kids will be glad you did because youll be choosing the right values too.
