1)Connect the  power adapter into your Freeview set top box, this is usually found on the back. Once you have done that, connect the other end of the power adapter into an electrical outlet socket.

2)Connect a scart cable into the a free scart socket on your TV, this is found on rear panel of the TV. Then connect the other end of the scart cable into the Freeview set top box, in the scart socket called TV.

If you have a HD freeview set top box, then you will need to buy a HD cable, but only if it is not provided the box. Then connect the HD cable into a free HD socket, found near the scart socket on most tellys. Then connect the other end of the HD cable into HD socket found on the Freeview box.

3)Power on your TV and then power on the Freeview set top box. The TV should automatically configure the scart socket itself. If not, change the AV mode on the TV remote control, if you are using a scart cable.

How To Connect Hook Up Setup PC Speakers To a Computer

If you have bought a set of computer speakers and you want to use them with your computer, so you can play games, listen to music or watch movies and hear the sound using them, you will need to hook them up to your computer. A computer has a sound card or on board sound, which is basically electronic components that deliver sound to your speakers. 4)Power on your computer, it should automatically find them and your sound cards menu will pop up. If it does pop up, it will allow you to make adjustment to different sound effect features, this is to allow you to adjust how you want the speakers to sound, most good sound cars these days have a equalizer, this is so you can increase or decrease bass and treble.

Car Head Unit Has No Blue Remote Wire How To Connect Amplifier

 

If your car head unit has no remote wire, when you switch on your car head unit, the amplifier will not switch on because the remote wire cant send voltage to the amplifier to make it come on, but you can still get around it.

1)To power on a car amplifier without using a the remote wire connection found on the wiring harness on the radio, simply cut a small piece of 15 gauge wire and using a wire stripper strip of a 1 cm of insulation off both ends of the wire.

2)Once you have removed the insulation off both ends of the wire, unscrew the 12 volt terminal screw thats on the amp, you will require a screwdriver to open the screw.

3)Once you have unscrewed that screw, unscrew the remote wire terminal screw.

4)Then insert the electrical wire into the 12 volt terminal and using your screwdriver, screw tight the screw.

5)Then insert the remote wire into the remote wire terminal and then tighten the screw.

You have now bypassed the remote wire, now your car amplifier will power on without a remote wire connection on your car stereo. The only downfall of using this method to power your car amp is that it will be on all the time, it wont turn off. So when you are not using your car amp, disconnect the fuse, it will break the circuit and turn off the amp, if you dont, the next morning your car battery will be flat.

DIY How To Connect Power a Computer Fan Using a USB Port

Computer fans are used to cool down hardware that is suffering from overheating issues, to prevent damage occurring and to increase the lifespan of it. The computer fans work the same as desk fans do, as they have blades that spin that create air flow. If you have a spare computer fan lying around the house, you can make into a desk fan with a few simple modifications. Computer fans operate on a 12 volts line, which is usually provided by the motherboard or directly from the power supply unit. For the power source, you can use a spare USB port on your computer. A USB port can provide a maximum voltage of 5 volts, which is sufficient enough for your fan to power up. Not only can use this fan you make with your computer, you can also use it using a PS3 or Xbox 360 console because it also has USB ports integrated into the system. To make the fan, all you need is a USB cable of some sort which has connector and wire, as well as a few tools to create your very own desk fan.

1) Use a pair of Wire Strippers to remove the plastic insulation coating from the USB wire. You will see 4 different colored small sized wires. The wires that the fan will require are the Red color wire, which is the 5 volts line and the Black wire for the ground. So remove the insulation of both of them wires and using a scissors, snip the other two remaining wire because you will not need them.

2) Most computer fans have three different color wires, known as a 3 Pin Connector fan. A Red wire, which is the Positive, a Black wire, which is the Negative and a White color wire, which is called a Taco wire, which is used to tell the motherboard the RPM speed of the fan. The only two wires you need it the red and black wires, you dont need the white color wire, so using a scissors snip it off. 

3) You will need to make the connections from the fan to the USB wire. So grab both the Red wire from the fan and the Red color wire from the USB wire and connect them together by twisting there copper braids. Then connect the Black wire from the fan onto the Black wire on the USB wire. Once you have made all the connections, using some insulation tape, cover the exposed copper braids up of the wires to prevent any short circuits happening.

4) Power on your computer, so the power supply unit can provide power to the USB ports on your computer. Then insert the USB wire connector into any spare USB port on your computer, i would suggest that the front panel USB ports are more convenient. Your computer fan will now be powered up by the USB port and will be blowing cool air out!
